Student Worship Bands (Ages 8 through Adult)

Many Voices. One Message.

Reach out to the community with music. Our Creative Soul worship band mission is to bring together, share and build the gifts in our community. To be "One Body. Many Parts" as Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians - to come together and encourage the body of believers and go out into the community to reach out with music to the loast and broken.

Adult and student worship bands lead by instructors with professional worship band and teaching experience. Classes will cover:
  • Fundamental music concepts on an instrument
  • Worship style playing techniques: song transitioning, improvisation for "Moving in the Spirit", band communication
  • Application in ear training and performance
Whether you already play an instrument, always wanted to, or just want to be a part of this goal in Christ, then join us to "Live out Loud" and "Reach Out With Music".
  • Bands grouped by age skill level
  • Four to Seven students per band
  • Instrument mix of guitars up to three bass, voice, keys, drums up to two
Skill Levels

Level I: Beginner 
  • Bass and Guitar: Own a guitar, strap and cable
  • Drums: Clap to the beat of a song on the radio
  • Piano: Own a keyboard or piano
  • Vocals: Able to sing loud
Level II: Intermediater
  • Guitars: Able to read basic tab, play power chords and 5 or more open chords, basic understanding of fretboard
  • Bass: read basic tablature, basic understanding of fret board
  • Drums: Play basic rock beat with crash and hi-hat in time. Create drum fills.
  • Piano: Basic chord chart understanding. Play basic 5 finger melodies
  • Vocals: Memorize lyrics, comfortable singing loud while moving on stage
Level III: Advanced
  • Guitars: Able to read advanced tab (solos), chord charts, know and play all Open Chord, Barre Chords, solo ability(Improvisation)
  • Bass: Read advanced bass tab/chord chart, create a bass line
  • Drums: Able to play fast 8th and 16th note beats with crashes. Create drum beats and fills to match song.
  • Piano: Advanced understanding of chord charts, basic improvisation
    Vocals: Singing in pitch with movement and passion
Pricing and Commitment Terms
  • Tuition fee: $115 per month (plus venue charges if larger venue)
  • $10 Performance Fee per student per term (max 2 students)
  • Fall (September through December)
  • Spring (January through May)
  • Summer (June through August))
  • 1 performance per term at local venue
